Method 1 — Easy Coin Mechanism Connector (Recommended)
Plug-and-play. No cutting or modifications required.
Supports:
- Credits in ✅
- Cash reporting ✅
- Prize tracking ❌ (optional wiring)
- Locker box ❌ (optional wiring)
Steps:
- Power off machine
- Unplug factory connector from coin mechanism
- Plug purple connector into coin mechanism
- Plug factory connector into green connector
- Connect red 6-pin to ArcadePay controller
Method 2 — CandyMachines / Neofuns Machines
4-Pin Machines (2022–2024)
- Plug 4-pin into machine
- Plug 6-pin into controller
Supports:
- Credits ✅
- Cash reporting ✅
- Prizes ✅
6-Pin Machines (2024+)
Plug controller directly into machine
Supports:
- Credits ✅
- Cash reporting ✅
- Prize sensor ✅
- Locker box ✅
Method 3 — Hardwire
For machines without compatible connectors.
Wire Guide:
- Yellow → 12V power
- Black → Ground
- Brown → Credits/Cash
- Pink → Prize sensor
Steps:
- Power off machine
- Cut off 4-pin connector
- Wire color-coded leads
- Connect 6-pin to controller
Powering On
After installation:
- Blue light = powered on
- Red lights = connecting to network
First connection may take up to 10 minutes.
💡 Tip: Connect at your shop before installing on location.
QR Code Setup
Once connected:
- Scan QR code
- Confirm payment screen loads
- Apply stickers
Sticker Placement
Best Practices
- Use multiple stickers
- Keep placement clean and straight
- Inside glass is preferred
Recommended Locations
- Small machines → lower right inside glass
- Large machines → multiple placements
- No glass → exterior visible areas
Troubleshooting
- Weak signal → reposition antenna outside machine
- No connection → allow full 10-minute startup time
